What happens when my carer has time off or goes on holiday? At Proalliance Care, we prioritise the continuity and consistency of care, recognising that our carers need sufficient time off for their well-being to ensure they can deliver the high-quality care you deserve. You will be assigned a team of two carers who will typically provide care in your home on a rotating schedule, usually working for two weeks at a time before switching. While this is our standard rota pattern, we also offer other options, such as a four-week working period followed by two weeks off. This team-based approach ensures that the same carers really get to know and understand you as an individual. If one carer needs a short break, we make every effort for the other carer to cover their absence, maintaining consistency of care. As part of our fully managed service, we have a rapid response and relief team of highly trained professional carers available to support you during your carer’s holidays or extended leave. These arrangements are planned and communicated well in advance to you and your family, ensuring that your care needs continue to be met seamlessly.
